Breaking Away.I want to break away, I want to break for freedom, I want to break away, Be free to be the real me, Not the watered down, Or less-than real me, I want to be who I want to be, But can't, In my current place of living, I can't be who I am, Or who I want to be, My only form of release, Is poetry, poems, and prose, I wish I had a way, To do it otherwise, To be who I am, Not walk, head bowed, Not take long ways, Not take a detour, Just walk right there, Then walk right back, Not beware of people, Not be scared,Be me.
